Qualifications

MBBS, From KBNIMS, Gulbarga, Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences and did internship from Bowring Hospital, Bangalore

He has done international internships from Amager Hospital, Denmark and Theda Oaks, San Antonio, USA in Surgical and Medical Gastroenterology respectively.

Dr. Wasim M Dar completed his surgical training at Manipal Hospital, Bangalore.

He has trained in Laparoscopic general surgery and Laser surgery for Varicose Veins at Manipal Hospital.

He was involved in all aspects of patient management from emergencies to elective cases.

Additionally, He also completed MRCS from Royal College of Surgeons and Physcians (UK).

Dr Wasim Dar has presented various papers and videos at national and international conferences.

His paper on “Single Incision Laparoscopic splenectomy with innovative gastric traction suture” was published in Journal of Minimal Access Surgery in 2011.
